I have just bought a Motovaton Formula II to attach to my 2002 HD Road Glide which has the standard HD issue tires. After putting about 100 miles on the rig I have realized the steering will be quite heavy. The installer at Motovaton rigged the SC and tested it before I road it. He said it rides as well as it will ever. On straignt runs it handles good. But on turns its like driving a car without Power Steering. Any way to add power steering to the bike?

Check with Liberty, Side-Effects, or Sidecar Industry Council sites. Several vendors have raked triple trees or will modify yours for sidecar use by reducing the trail for easy (power?) steering.

Better yet, go to Dauntless website, and check out an earls-type set up which would give you power-like steering. Even better ( if you could afford it) check out the centerpoint steering available from Sauer in Germany!! Good luck..Fred F. (aka newfiedad )

We have triple tree's, leading links and are a dealer for Sauer. We also have automotive tires that fit your rims and have reverse gears for the bike.
