i went to a small bike show today at a diner down the street.took my 1988 harley with the harley sidecar .there was a gold wing with a nice sidecar there.i talked to the couple who owned it and they had never heard of the USCA .i showed them a copy of the sidecarist magazine and told them to check the website .a couple was looking at my bike and told me they had a yamaha with a sidecar.once again they didnt know of the USCA .i showed them the magazine and let them know that there are meets ,tech advice and other great things when you are a member.they seemed interested also. when i talk sidecars at bike shows ,old cruise nites.what ever,i let people know that there is a group for us crazy lovers of sidecars
i think i will carry an issue of the Sidecarist and print a bunch of membership applications with the web address on it.you never know when you will run into a sidecar owner or someone who is thinking about sidecars.
Great idea! I'm going to start carrying a copy of the Sidecarist, too.
