Yesterday as Petey and I were on our way home from getting the mail we met a grey sidecar rig eastbound as we were headed west. We waved. I turned around and followed but never caught up. There were three or four vehicles between us, one another motorcycle. Not sure if the gray guy turned north on 231 or kept on toward Airway Hts. Missed opportunity for a chat.
Last week I did the same thing. Leaving the post office, I saw a bike towing a trailer that was obviously for a dog eastbound through town. Petey (although I didn't ask if he wanted to) and I followed hoping he'd pull over. We followed all the way to the west end of Airway Hts where he pulled in at the SpoKo fuel. Turned out to not be "he" at all but rather she. We had a most excellent conversation. Very glad to have caught up with Leone Bodie and Lucus from British Columbia. They were headed for Montana. She built the trailer Lucas was riding in. I gave her a copy of the Sidecarist magazine thinking perhaps her pup would enjoy a ride beside his best good riding buddy instead of in the trailer. Wished her safe and happy travels and we went our separate ways.

I was hoping if gray guy (gal?)saw this post they might recognize that it was them and sound off... Unlikely but always a chance.
