sidecar set up
Hey all,
First let me say I do not have a sidecar, yet.
However I do have a friend that has one and I have ridden it a couple of time. Untill I rode his I was prepared to purchase one. That is the most ill handling piece of equipment that I have ever tried to ride. I personal believe that it is all in the setup. It pulls very hard to the right and is very hard to make a left turn. The bike is question is a 2007 Harleydavidson Ultra Classic with a Harley sidecar. Are there some tricks to setting one up so as to be fun to ride. As for myself I do have several regular motorcycles that I ride daily.
Any advise on setup that I can pass along would be great.
Thanks,
Harley Man Don

Don't you think a motorcycle that has been manufactured with the sidecar already in place would be the best bet for a newbie? I am not a mechanic and I can see the work these guys put into mounting the sidecar so I have put away the notion of buying a motorcycle then putting on the sidecar myself. When I get the funds I am just going to buy a used Ural.
