Sidecar Recommendations for Kids?
During the first five years of our marriage my wife and I enjoyed touring on our Harley Electra Glide. In the last 18 months we have had two sons. We want to get back into riding and touring and want to eventually include our sons. I have no experience with sidecars, but it seemed to be the fastest way to include the boys. I am looking for recommendations for a sidecar. What I would like to find is a well made sidecar big enough to fit two kids, matches the look of an Electra Glide, and is rugged enough to participate in an iron butt or ABCs or Touring. Any help would be appreciated.

Everybody has a different idea of what looks good. Check out these places. If something looks good to you, someone here can tell you it's good and bad points.
If you plan to ride 4 on your rig, remember to keep the sidecar's weight up to at least 1/3 as much as the motorcycle and it's passengers.

But DON"T give them ice cream or soda on the road! The pattern of the wind flow was clearly etched on the inside of my Dnepr. It took me weeks to clean the inside of the sidecar and windscreen. :0)

Same with the smell of milk!....
Anybody have experience with the Motorvation Formula II? Right now it is at the top of my list. Any feedback positive or negative would be appreciated.
I had a Formula 2 with an 87 Electra-Glide. It was well made with the paint job matching the bike. The problem I had was that the Harley dealer wouldn't service the bike with the sidecar attached. When your not mechanical at all it's a pain. I dreaded taking it off twice a year. I bought the tilt nose for easy access but The rain flooded the interior in storms. The toggle switch that controls the lean out cylinder was not very sturdy. I replaced twice and finally gave it up. I enjoyed the extra three gallons of gas and most of all the braking system. My wife liked the extra room inside and the convertible top. The people at Motorvation are very good to do business with. Good choice
