Being that I am computer challanged also low tech , I have not been able to upload the pictures of my new purchasr (1971 Honda CB 750 4 K 1 with sidebox). If you wwant to see it just email me at jamesloshbaugh@yahoo.com. I have found 2 articles about sidecars in some of my old Motorcycle
magazines. 1. Cycle Guide November l969. A 3 page article plus the magazine cover picturetitled Universal sidcars 2. A 2 page article Cycle World May 1970 titledBingham Mark 1 sidecar. I would be willing to share these with the other members of the forum so if the forum organizer would send me a mailing address I will send copies to him so he can put them in the forum

Joyce: Thanks for getting the pictures of my new toy into the forum. I can't wait to start
learning to ride it next week. Any of you who have some suggestions of some good training
or practice exercises please send them on to me.

Thanks to RichardMc4 for the link to the sidecar information. It was just what I was looking for.
How do you like my new acquisition? I am really the 2nd owner. original owner bought the Honda
in 1971, put the sidebox on in 1980, passed away in 1995, son has b een diriving it since and he died about 6 months ago. His friend who also runs TFOG sold it to me so the money will go to his surviving spouse. It really looks very good (needs a cleaning up) but TFGO is making sure it is in perfect running condition before I take it home next week. Jim in Denver

get a copy of Hal Kendals book (link to free copy somewhere, sorry I don't know where) on how to ride and go to a very large empty parking lot with cones or tennis balls cut in half and go through the practice sessions that he describes. Be very carefull until you are better acquainted with the rig. Also you might put a 100 lbs (really!) of weight in the box and that will help. Right handers are tricky until you are more familiar with the rig, the car wheel will come off of the pavement easily, i.e. the weigt helps.

Thanks for the good advice. I was able to copy the books you mentioned and if you want them go to the post from RichardMc4 or just go to http://www.sidecar.com/links3.asp. This coming Tues is the big day as I pick it up and will ride it home (with some practice sessions on the way). I am really looking foreward to the new experience. Jim in Denver

Thank you for the tip, Richard. Great information.

Also, I see you are on the opposite coast from me.
