I have a GL1500 with a Hannigan 2+2 sidecar. This is a wide rig and can be difficult to judge the proximity of the sidecar fender to curbs or the side of the road (as my sidewalls could tell you).

Has anyone attached a mirror on a sidecar? I want to get a mirror that would maintain the sleek look of the rig. Any auggestions on this would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Many sidecars are equipped with mirrors. Usually for the convenience of the passenger, but if you need side clearance vision, why not?
Depending on the body conformation on the sidecar, automotive or cycle mirrors work fine for your purpose. I would use a flat mirror so as not to get the distorted image and lack of depth perception that comes with the convex "Things are closer than they appear" mirrors. Auto parts houses, J.C.Whitney and EMGO have a large selection of choices.
