Sidecar Man to the Rescue!
Okay, it's not like this is unprecedented...
My wife's car didn't start for her this morning. I earned a few hubby points by telling her to take my car, and I'd work out the problem with hers.
Battery was FLAAAAAAAAAT. Didn't seem to be taking a charge, so I pulled it, put it in the sidecar, and rode the rig to work. This despite a bit of wet, but hey, that's what the rain gear is for!
Later this morning I'll be taking the battery over to my local auto parts store for testing and (probably) replacement. Then back home at noon for a quick transplant and back to business.
Like I said, not a particularly unusual or inspiring story, but there are days when that third wheel comes in handy.
Anybody have a good story along these lines?

Along those same lines,
My son had borrowed our pick up truck for a few days while I was in the middle of a project. I unfortunately came up short on material and had to run to the lumber store for some plywood and 2 X 4's. My other 4 wheeler is a MINI Cooper and that just wasn't going to work so off I went with the hack. This particular hardware store has a drive through lumber pickup where the attendants load your vehicle for you. I think theY're still laughing at me!! 😉

During University I passed 7 times my household with the rig ...and even hauled a bed for 20 miles that didn't let me see more then 2 " above it.
Most handy was the flip top in the night 3-4 march 1988 , for to pick a friend out of a lake and bring her to the hospital riding the stairs right up to the entrance.
...
The personel manager later gave me a dissuasion "for to come late to work."
Stupid German lawyer!

An ambulance rig ...

This is how I brought my new refrigerator home. WTF with the size?
