Anyone know what the distance from the center of the sidecar wheel to the center of the rear wheel on the motorcycle is?

I posted an answer yesterday but apparently it got lost in transit.

Through the years Harley sidecars have been mounted on Harleys with 8" to 8 1/2" wheel lead.

In general 10-15% of the wheel base of the bike is what we go with however some bikes such as dual sport bikes we go a bit over 15%. If you tell us more about what you have we can better answer. I have attached installation instructions.
