On the www.royalenfields.com blog (9-27-13) a guy from Germany was requesting identification of a sidecar on his 1946 Harley. Will try to attach a photo from that blog - if it doesn't attach please check out the blog for photos. i'd be glad to pass on the identification. Thanks, Al

hi awl, looks like a watsonian x21 lightweight chassis with some stiffening cross bars added to firm things up, if that is the case, I would guess its a watsonian "sport",though whether sport is the model or just the generic name, I have no idea. maybe someone else can dig up more info.

Thanks chaddokid! I checked out the watsonian x21 on the web and it sure looks like that's it. May be a Watsonian "Marlow" or "Monarch" tub? http://reddevilmotors.blogspot.com/2012/05/watsonian-sidecars-1958.htmll Have passed your info on to David at www.royalenfields.com and he's forwarding it to the guy from Germany. Mystery solved!

AwL, not a marlow or monarch, they both have doors.
