Does anyone know of a business that rents sidecar rigs in Hawaii. Maybe you have a fellow enthusiast that lives in Hawaii and think they may want either some publicity or just the fun of being on a website for exchange for a rental for a day or so! I had the pleasure(?) of living in Hawaii for 5 years ('95-'00) and never heard of any such thing. As I recall there were numerous automobile rental outfits and a good number of motorcycle rental outfits, but it was very rare to even see a sidecar there. I think the better question might be, "Are there sidecar rentals anywhere?" I find it hard to believe that there could be, given all the issues that would relate to training and lisencing. I would also question if it could even be profitable since we are such a minority. But then I remember a time when motorcycle demo rides and motorcycle rentals were non-existent too ...
Oh, almost forgot, there were a lot of moped rentals there too!

Check with the Harley dealers. I believe there was at least one sidecar rig available on the Big Island a while back.
