I had a really bad day at work today, but it was all made better when i saw an item at the Shoppers Drug Mart on the way home from work. On first sight of him, I cracked up.. had to buy him.

I had a big Bart Simpson doll as my passenger one year. When we'd get to about 35 mph and above, the wind would pick up his right arm like he was waving. Got a lot of laughs out of that.

Big OUCH! sorry to hear of that, it was greasy.. I was in the neighbourhood from about 11:30-4:00 before i headed out of town. Greasy enough that my rear tire was very 'spin happy' right up into third gear pulling away from stops. Sorry to hear you got bit by the dicey conditions.
A big turnout (no comparisons can be made here compared to previous events, since this is my first) and impressive considering the weather, and that a short 100 km away half of NY State was sitting under snow without power!
I saw at least three HD with S/C, 1 older Yamaha with a tilt equalean in a blue flame motif (I KNOW that person is an active poster here, i just can't remember who - I recognised the outfit anyway) a few Ural outfit pilots, and even a KLR650 outfit.. more outfits i've seen together in one time, for some time relatively close to home.
It was harsh conditions for a PD Friday 13th, but as the saying goes - the worst day on a motorcycle is better than the best day at work!
Charlie was a hit..! Proof positive that i made it to Port Dover!
we thought it was a good turn out also, been going since '96,..come back in april or july, will be huge,..now to the garage for the winter teadown,..hehe crawf.
