The Motorvation Spyder on my Valk is sold. I'm putting the Valk back on two wheels. At 81 years old I enjoyed it but it's time to get out. I've learned a lot about sidecars and enjoyed all the contacts that I've had on this forum. IMHO the mistake that I made was putting the 'car on the Valk, my long term friend (13 years). I should've made up a rig using a different tug. The Valk was great as a tug but I missed the power it had as a two wheeler. The Valk will be kept in the family (we have three '97's) but I'll end up riding a Nighthawk, my knees won't handle the Valk. I strongely suspect that I'll be driving my "99 Miata most of the time. I had a blast following Valks last year that were riding the "Snake" in Tennessee. With the top down, the Miata comes close enough for me to riding a motorcycle, or driving a rig. A young man from California has bought the Spyder and will be attaching it to a Valk Interstate. Evidently I sold him on a rig at one of our Valk rallys two years ago.
Thanks for every one's help. I'll be lurking here and still belong to the USA.

Ah ... too bad 🙁

Your Valk is pretty similar in size and power to my Triumph Rocket. Both are great bikes. I was really torn which way to go but eventually bought the Rocket.

Hopefully using the Rocket as a tug doens't cause any regrets for me down the road. That said ... if I'm still driving around on motorcycles and sidecars at a young 81 years old then I'll be a very happy camper indeed.
