Right Turn Signals?

What are you using for your right turn signal? The rear "tug" signal................ plus, the rear right turn signal on the "sidecar"? Or, are you using just the rear sidecar right signal? I see "both" rear right signals stand out more but is it

confusing ........... or legal?

Now, consider the same question for the front of the rig............... all questions are assuming the sidecar mounted on the right.

TIA!

The sidecar has its own flash lights. You ought to hook them up and take out the light bulbs from the bike's right flash lights. (I wrap them into paper and leave them there for spare and the moment I take of the sidecar.

I have a 4-inch round brake/tail/turn LED cartrage mounted in the car's fender for the back and am using the bike's right turn for the front. I'm looking at options to move the front signal to the car or to it's fender, but haven't done so as of yet.

I opted to to go with the turn light on the fender for the back so as to not confuse cagers more than they already are. Seeing a turn signal to the far right is a familiar configuration for most. I don't want the driver behind me to delay his/her reaction brought on by the confusion of seeing a turn signal BETWEEN two brake lights (as would be the case with the bike's stock turn signal between the bilke's and the car's brake lights). Since I don't have a headlight on the car, there is no second headlight for the turn signal to be between up front.

Most states have some version of this for their law about turn signals... "Turn signals shall be displayed as near to the outside edge of the vehicle as is practically possible". It allows for quite a bit of fudge factor (on both sides). It's also important to note that most states require any installed light to be functional. In Minnesota, I know one guy who puts a sock over the right signal on his bike ;^). I just took the right signal off the rear of the bike and removed the lamp from the front right signal (since it's built into the front of the mirror). I haven't had any trouble from the Police yet. Remember, turn signal indicators are not "required" in any state that I know of. However, if they are installed, they must work.
