In the past I had tried to get something going with sidecarist here on sidecar.com and in the magazine heck also around the >WORLD< if possiable you see on the 3rd wednesday in July is ride your bike to work day.

I am also a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America every year they ride their in some cases pretty darn old motorcycles to work and some go a fair length to get there then they send a picture to the editor of the magazine with a small description of the ride amount of miles that sort of thing nothing big but each year they fill MORE pages in the magazine

This year a total 8 pages with 72 pictures and a small blurb of the bike....some with sidecars telling about the bike weather, miles etc. in front of their place of work one guy in Saginaw Michigan only rode a mile to get there but he did it on a 1911 Haverford model B this is a belt driven very small single cylinder motorcycle, there were also a few from the 30's and the majority were in the late 40's to the late 50's with the cut off point for thia year being 1973

I figured heck why can't sidecarist do it to so when you get your 2009 calander go to July and mark the 3rd wednesday in July,2009 and ride your sidecar rig to work take a photo and let's send it in to the editor and if you can just a quick note of the ride

Oh you don't work retired you say? sorry no excuse
go to meet your friends for coffee or lunch remember it's the 3rd wednesday of July and take a photo there I am sure that it will "work" just the same.

from what I understand phones have cameras now 🙂
