Hello fellow sidecarists!
A friend of mine who is a serious motorhead (mostly hot-rod automotive) suggested that my 1981 H-D FLHC "Classic" would ride like a totally different machine with modern tires on it.

The roads around here (North Country NH) are prone to breaking up and I and the machine do take a beating over the bumps.

The original sidecar tire lasted 22 years, and now I replace worn tires with replica double white stripe goodyear speedgrip clones.

I need advice about what kind of modern tires to get.

Those Speedgrip clones have a nice flat profile for sidecaring. I'd give you some advice for options, but you need to post up the size of each of the three tires. Problem, though, I'm leaving on a 2-week camping trip tomorrow and not sure if I'll be able to check the forum anywhere from the road. But I'm sure other guys will chime in if you post up the sizes.

Thank you DRONE,

The tires are all three the same size, MT90-16, which in inch system is 5.10-16.

Pete
