so, i joined up and as is customary on most other forums, i wanted to show off my new bike and sidecar...
even with my photos hosted on an independent site, i am unable to post them here...
i tried to reference another thread and typed in the usual 'quote' code (since i couldnt fine the 'hot button') but alas like the pictures, no go...
do you have to have a certain number of posts in the forum before you can have the full access and privileges? i know many forums require a minimum before you can post a FOR SALE item to keep spammers from loading down the classifieds but what gives?

Make sure you are using the rich text editor available in your settings also if you check the box at the bottom of your post, you can just attach a file after posting that will show up in the message.
well, i jumped through the hoops and i must say, this is far from being the most user friendly method of adding pics...
using simple IMG type coding is so much easier, requiring fewer steps, less 'pop up' windows to enter locations/url code and generally less bandwidth but i can live with it...
i used the "attach file after posting" click box but all that did was put in a placeholder indicating there was a photo there. it didnt actually SHOW the file i added but i just wont use that form of adding pics...
i still havent found how to quote someone in my posts....

I use photobucket and have found that I have to use the HTML code here instead of the IMG code. And yes, I know what you mean about liking to post pics of our rigs! 🙂

i like the urals because of their 'classic' look but i needed something that was going to be comfortable for semi-long hauls with the family. its the reason i went with a car...

Pic looks great, but its big. Maybe you could shrink it a bit, so its easier to load and view?
