Hi,
I have a 2009 HD Nightster with a Cozy attached.
I'd like to put on a rear tire with a harder compound; one that is a touring tire would be ideal.
Also - I want to stick with the stock rim (150).
The metzlers are too soft - 7K worth; ergo, too expensive.
Anyone have suggestions-for or experience-with a good hard-compound tire that will fit the stock rim?

The Dunlop Elite III tires are much harder than the Metzelers and last longer. The Metzelers are sticky and are a great rain tire though.
