Hi need some help please I have just replaced the side car shock with a new IKON heaps better. At the moment i am using two rear damper shocks on the goldwing.(rides like a brick)
I have taken the air shock off.
I am after a HD rear shock for the gl 1500 as the rear is to soft not much damping. Ikon don't make one for the goldwing.
Any one here run differant rear shock on the goldwing.
Thanking you in advance Ian.

I run the standard air bag on the right and a Progressive on the left. The Progressive has no air. Seems to work really good. I also have the Progressive springs in the front forks.

This shock setup would be reversed for a "Leftie" rig in OZ.

Thank you Ralph. Is the Progressive shock a 450 I.A.S ?.The best price i have found so far is $356.00 for the shock and $59.00 postage from the US.
In Australia the best price i have is 789.00 for the shock.Thanking you Ian.

Yes, that's the one. I don't recall how much it was but seems about right.
