After all the beta testing this summer, I think the new top is in its final form. The previous thread was in May/June time frame if interested. I have since added trim around the side windows, which are now made of lexan and can be removed and installed from inside the chair. The windshield is now made of tinted lexan and I have installed Vetter style vents in the side of shield. These vents along with the vent in the car and the blower fan seem to be adequate. Not as good as a/c but who knows what is next. It has been fun, but I am glad this particular fun is over. 🙂

I love the look and the passenger friendly concept. Such a professional fix... Wish I had one. 🙂
Thanks for sharing.

Should show Hannigan this, don't think they make a top for this model. Looks great!

They did make a top for this model in the form of a bubble shield with a top, but it was very confining. I do not think they make this model anymore as I believe it was one of the molds lost in the fire. In stock form it had less usable room than my Hannigan Classic, but with the new top has much more. The advantage of their design is it could be removed and stored behind seat. My top is designed to stay on with removable windows which my boss monkey prefers. What boss monkey wants.......

draperg1; My suggestion is why not contact Hannigan Motorsports directly as they seem to be the manufacturer. Their located in Murrary, Kentucky. If I recall correctly I saw one of this model in Hannigan's showroom this past February.

Nice work! It is unfortunate that you live where the boss monkey feels the need of weatherproofing.

Not so much the weather but the sun. Trying to protect herself from further skin cancer issues. What is nice she still rides despite knee replacement and skin issues. 🙂
