New to the board. Wondering if anyone has put a Legend on a 2005 GL 1800. If so, do you have any pics you can email? While I'm here, I'll also ask if the frame of the gold Wing has to be modified, cut, welded or drilled to install any of the Champion or Hannigan sidecars.

I have a Hannigan GTL on my 05' wing. Just like the one pictured on the website, but in Silver. I love it.
I have a Champion Legend on my 92' Harley softail (pictured in my profile). I would not put the legend on the Goldwing, just my opinion. For a little more money the Hannigan looks like a factory option, and has a LOT MORE STORAGE for the long haul. It's built for the Goldwing, and I can't imaging how you would attach a legend to the GW frame. We love our HD rig for short trips and cruising, but the Honda is our choice for long trips. We chose it because of the looks and the top. If you take a partner with you the roof and windows make all the difference in the rain and cold. Feel free to contact me with any questions, I have had very few problems with my Hannigan and would not hesitate to recomend them for the Goldwing. It rides and handles like a dream. In fact, a HD Dealer told me "If HD made a Sidecar that looked that good and matched that well, I could sell a ton of them!" I agree!!
