I am looking for any Pullman Hackers that were in that Chicago Motorcycle club from 1968 to 1976. I am the former President of that club and the former 1st president of the USCA. I am looking to get a reunion of some sort together. Send me an e-mail please.

Hi Al and welcome to the board. I don't know exactly how many former Pullman Hackers are still USCA members but there are several members who are still on our membership list. I'll bet that Al Roach can help you out with some current information.

You know that this year is the 30th USCA National Rally. That would be a great place to hold a reunion.

Al - there must be a few of us old timers around who still fondly recall the delights of the Polar Bear Run originated by the Pullman Hackers. That was quite a tradition they left for the USCA to follow.

Good hunting with the reunion.

Dear Hal,
Thanks for the words of incouragement.
I remember one of the Hackers that moved down to your area and I visted him the time I had visted your place on Palamino Drive.
I forgot his name but he rode with the San Jacinto High Rollers, or similar name. Is there a way you could get a message to this club (if it is still around) that might run accross the path of the old Hacker, that I am looking for PHMC people?

Thanks AL

Al, this is sure a small world thanks to the internet. If I am not mistaken I was the 3rd President of the Pullman Hackers, then there was Bob, so you were probably the 4th. I lost contact with all you guys when I moved to Minooka, Il. Its nice to know that someone is still around, or should I say still alive. I now reside in Joliet, and would be very much interested in getting together or trying to join up at a reunion.
I don't have a sidecar but I am on my second trike. My 2 wheeler is stricly a T T bike(tavern to tavern), and my trikes have gotten all the miles on them. Planning a trip to Florida, and one to San Diego area for this spring and summer. Live to ride and ride to live.
Your Friend,
Jim G.

I have found five old Hackers and a couple of guests that used to ride with us. I have sent out a flier by e-mail and the US postal service to all I have found so far. Any one else out there?
This is official now, as we are going to have the 40th reunuion of the Pullman Hacker Mortorcycle club created in or before 1968 at the 30th USCA sidecar rally in Duluth MN.
Anyone knowing of any riders in the Southern Chicago Area or any other clubs that new us at that time are welcome to the Rally / Reunion.

Hi to all:
I have run across some old 8mm film of the Pullman Hacker Club that was taken in 1969 and 1970, I am having it transfered to VHS tape and DVD format. there is about 45-60 mins of film which is at the processor's now. Hope everything transfers ok. I will be bringing copies of it with me the Rally/Reunion.

Big Al,

If you bring a DVD copy we will have a video projector to show the old footage [should you want to].

I got back the DVD that was transfered from old super 8 film, and it looks good for something that was done in the 70's. There is about 35 mins at full speed but some of it needs to be slowed down and it will take about an hour to review it. I am in the process of making copies of this DVD now and will hopefully bring some copies with me.

I will be holding a 40 year reunion at the 2009 USCA Rally.
My wife Debbie and I were at the last Rally in Lake Tahoe in 1983.
Looking forward to the ride.
