Petey's first ride
Today was the first warm dry day we've had in a while. Temps hit 60. So I thought it was a perfect time for Pete's first ride in the sidecar. He did great. We rode into Reardan, made a loop around town and came back home. He kept the Doggles on until we were nearly home then wanted them off. These Doggles are a bit too big. We're waiting for the next shipment to come in at Dog Town then we'll get some that fit better. A very fine first ride. And he ran around in joyful circles when we got home. A happy pup for sure.

Good boy, Petey!!

The second picture made me smile!
Way to go Petey!
Hey Tom. That is great. Looks like he is a natural.
Tom-Good on both of you. Impressive. Will I get to meet you both at Chelan? Mike
Tom that is a handsome well groomed dog. You made a great choice and I wish you both many miles of happy riding.
Thanks everyone. Mike- yep, we'll see ya there!!

Congratulation, wellcome in the club names sake.
Tom, may God bless you both with many more miles.

Hmmm. Petey looks a lot like my Giant Schnoodle, Kirby. What breed is he?
And regarding Chelan, we didn't want to know if YOU were coming. We wanted to know if PETEY was coming.
Hi Drone- He's Labradoodle according to the shelter we rescued him from and that's what the vets say. But I sent in a DNA breed test and we'll see if they confirm. A couple more weeks. We'd (actually me, Petey was unaware of the possibility) planned on making the SRC ride to Grand Coulee Dam yesterday but it was called off. It would have been a good first "long ride" for him. Further than he'd ridden yet but not so far as to get his iron butt patch. And regarding Chelan, it's a pretty safe bet that if one of us is there, the other will be as well. Or the reverse would be just as true...
