Hey guys,

I have been interested in sidecars for a while now and am looking into putting one on my BSA 441 Victor. Not looking at a racing one, but something lightweight that can handle trails. Can anyone recommend a good company? My other option is to put a sidecar on my BMW R90/6, but I would prefer the BSA.

thanks

We do a lot of dual sport sidecars which can be seen in the off road section of our web site www.dauntlessmotors.com
The Ural company has a prototype platform sidecar that would work out great on your bike. We have the first two on order. I do not know the price or delivery date.
There is some one who often shows up at the Griffith park rally in LA with a 500cc BSA with a trials platform sidecar on it. I have ridden it. It is a blast. On his he had a problem clearing the kick start so it has a sproket with a chain to another sproket to relocate the kick start. Weird but it works
Let me know if we can be of help.

Thanks,
I would love something set-up for a lightweight like the 441. I'm 6'3" and about 230lbs, so a 441 will be pulling a load to start with 😉 Keep me informed on the Ural set-up. I love the full trials rigs, but am thinking more dual sport. There is a guy down the street who races sidecars and has built a few, so I have some source for tech and set-up.
