I'm new to the forum and it looks like this is the place to turn to for questions, answer etc! What an amazing resourceful site that I have now spent hours on in a very short period of time. I've come across a side car that is in need of work, but the "bones" are there. The body has scuffs and scratches, but nothing major. The frame will also have to be completely gone through. I think I've narrowed it down to a few models, but I could be way off as I'm not new to bikes, but no NOTHING about sidecars (Spirit of America/Eagle, CSC Friendship????). I have attached a few pictures and was hoping I could please receive some guidance on what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

It looks like a Spirit of America Eagle that the frame is up side down and the body set on backwards. The shock should be on the top and facing forward.
These are ok light duty sidecars that work well on smaller bikes. We may be able to help you with mounting hardware.

Jay- Thank you for the fast reply. This has been sitting in my parents neighbors shed for a number of years. My dad took the pictures and sent them to me hence why everything is backwards/pulled out of a shed. Their neighbors don't have it listed locally so my dad told them I'd be by tomorrow to take a look and possibly make an offer. He told me he believes most of the mounting hardware is there (although I'd like to bring it up to speed as I know these were built in the 70's and technology/engineering changes). The frame he believes was originally chrome and painted black which has a fair amount of rust on it. The fiberglass on the body seems to be in good shape with just a few scratches here and there, nothing that can't be repaired. My intentions would be to have the body fixed primed/painted as well as updated mounting hardware etc, so I know I'd have to put quite a bit of $$ into it. I have to ask the ultimate question, what should I offer and pay? Thanks Again

Not a lot of value in this, I would expect it to sell for around $500 in my local market.

... it will be attached to a very well kept 1973 CB350. I'm sure I will be asking for some guidance along the way!!!

Look's like a good match and a great project. Please take photographs along the way and document your progress - post 'em here occasionally and save 'em up for publication our The Sidecarist magazine.
