Hello all. I have a R60/5 and am thinking of getting a sidecar. I'm looking at the Velorex 562, about $2200. Does anyone have this bmw/sidecar set-up? If anyone has this sidecar, how do you like it? I have a 7 and 5 year old boys who will likely ride with me. I don't plan on going on major highways, not enough power for it anyway.

The new Velorex Cruisers will work fine but will need a sub-frame to mount on your bike. As wonderful as the older Beemers were, the germans stopped engineering behind the seatpost.

We have bike specific mounts for your /5. The /5 needs a sub frame as the frame is not strong enough to simply clamp a sidecar onto it.
Sidecars we offer that work out great on this bike are the Kenna at only $2495 which includes mounts, the Ural at $2695 or Steib's. Al of these can be seen on our web site www.dauntlessmotors.com The Kenna also comes in a two seat version for only $3495 but your bike would be hard pressed with this sidecar.

Ural does not make a two seat sidecar. We make the Kenna in a two seat.
