newbie seeking practice time before picking up a sidecar rig
hello folks
newbie member from Denver area, never been on a sidecar rig, about 3 yrs of regular motorcycling time.
going to be riding to OKC weekend of 20sep to swap my RT beemer for a 1996 Ural Sportsman sidecar rig. Can't wait!
however, hoping a kind soul or two here in the denver metro area who had sidecar rigs would let me have some seat time beforehand so I can safely get the sportsman back to denver from OKC. I would of course pay for gas used and a reasonable usage fee as well. Not talking about riding off on your rig, talking about basic turns and maneuvers in an empty parking lot.
I hope to get to the ural deal and get a test ride or two on their for sale rigs but not sure how that will go.
thanks for your attention, pls pm me if you'd like to help out a future sidecar owner....
If you have not already done so, down load and read the manuals posted on this web site. It is not the same as seat time, but the mental preparation will sure be a benefit when you do get the seat time.
thanks, I have done so, very enlightening....typos and all.....should be quite the learning curve to master....
