I was referred to this site by a member on the Moto Guzzi forum. I purchase a Dnepr sidecar to mount to my 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. I have absolutely NO experience with sidecars, but the wife & I are in the process of adopting a 2 yr old boy & I would love to take him for rides with me when he is allowed. I have been riding motorcycles for 17+ years. I've been told that a sidecar rig has very little in common with it. I'll be browsing the forum for answers and asking some questions along the way. Both the wife & I are educators in Corpus Christi, TX. We both grew up in Colorado and graduated from Colorado State in the late 1990's. I've become a Guzzi nut the past year, and she chose a Guzzi as her third bike (she started on a Rebel 250, then Shadow 600). I've owned quite a few makes of bikes and do my own wrenching.

Welcome, from the state of Maine. Good luck with your adoption. Kids are great....but grow up way too fast.

Welcome AJ,

You've come to the right place. The experts here will give you good advice.

I'm not one of them. I just got my rig running back in December. But I am right up the road from you in New Braunfels. Glad to have another Texan onboard.

Rob

Glad you made it over here, AJ. Start out by reading Hal's Operator's manual here; http://www.sidecar.com/links3.asp It will answer a lot of your questions right off the bat.
