Just took delivery of this R50/2 with an attached Steib S500 sidecar.

The bike is a 1965 with a 1970 R75/5 engine.

My friend and I are going to dial it in tomorrow.

Just finished setting up my 1999 R1200C with the Steib S500 last week.

That drives and handles just like a fine German machine should.

That one is for sale.

That's nice, Don, but keep it away from the salt air. That air will destroy its good looks.

I got a cousin in Mystic!

Hi Drone, I spent a lot of time in Tacoma at the Almar boat plant where I had several custom work boats built.

That tank is a "Hoske" not a Heinrich tank as I originally thought.

It is garaged when not being ridden around the shoreline or inland around farm country.

Thanks Don for the correction.
That does explain why I saw the tank a litte oddly sharp edged.
How many liters/galons fit in that tank?
empty- full ?
reserve - full?

Enjoy the few dry days up in Washington's North Wet with the nice rig.

That is a Hoska tank that holds about 8 gallons of Gas

Great looking rig! And with the "newish type engine" it will go about forever!

Welcome Claus, I'd like to say the wife and I really like your country. We have friends that live in the town of Busum by the North Sea. We were over visiting them two years ago. We were really taken back by the little town of Heide. I'm a retired law officer and we visited the Police station their. The officers were very friendly and we exchanged shoulder patches. My ride is a 1998 Yamaha Royal Star with a Hannigan Astro 2+2 sidecar.
