Interesting to see a PD looking at sidecars again.
I know he keeps saying 'Victory Sidecar' in the video but who is the actual maker of this one shown?
It looks like Hannigan Classic with a couple of mods to make it match the Victory. the two that stand out are the decidedly "Victory" sidecar fender and the trunk lid. If you don't think it's a Hannigan, that lid is the best argument you have. The lid looks like it required a modification to the back of the tub to make it work. The fact that it opens sideways is a nod to the police version of Harley panniers. That said, it is so easy to splash a sidecar body and then make a few changes to come up with an "original design" that anyone with a fiberglass shop could be the maker.
I am not the expert but I agree Hannigan.
I does look sharp but just wonder why? I don't think I would want to take a prisoner for a ride in it. Maybe it is for a partner. Or K-9? Maybe just extra gear.
I do like the looks.
