Hi all
I am new to the list and new to sidecars. I have many years on motorcycles. Now I have to forget all of that and learn all over. I am still at a point of every turn is an adventure. I have a 2005 Ural patrol. I will be asking lots of questions so I hope you all like sharing your knowledge and remembering when you were new to this thing of sidecars

Welcome Norcal guy! Congrats on the purchase of your Patrol. I wish you many happy miles with it. Questions? We've got answers. Your job, as always, will be to decide which ones make sense for you. 🙂 Lots of Ural folks here and also at Yahoo. Are you plugged into them yet? these guys are very active: wagnerscycle & yahoog groups is very active. There is also a very active Ural list, which I'm sure the Wagners people or those at SCT (also at Yahoo Groups) can get you hooked up. Welcome!

Hi Norcal guy:
Welcome to the world of sidecaring. We were all beginners once. Feel free to share your riding experiences both here and on the USCA Western Region site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/USCAWest/

I've been riding for several years, and I still consider riding sides an adventure.. Ain't it great! 🙂

Have fun, and safe riding to you, Gail, USCA Cal Rep

Hi Jack,

Welcome to sidecars and Urals!

In case you haven't joined it, the Ural forum at http://www.imz-ural.com ( http://imzwa.secureforum.com/login) is a great resource.

I don't know... I've been driving these things for about 29 years (well, time out for sleep and stuff) and I'm still a beginer. Most folks here will tell you not to pay any attention to anything I say.
Have to go, I think I hear Mom's car in the driveway...

BTW, here is some Ural maintenance information I've written-up over the last 5 years. Most of it is based on the 650 engine. However, even with my 750 upgrade, most of it still applies...
