I've been fairly vocal about my feelings on Velorex. I don't think it's a bad car. In fact, I plan to mount one on a 250 Rebel to teach my grandchildren to ride when the time is right. I just don't like seeing them on big bikes. One of the prettiest combinations I've ever seen was a bright red 562 on a 650 Suzuki at the USCA Rally in LaCrosse. But that's as big a bike as I would feel comfortable using with an unmodified one.

Sidecar, I notice a lot of used Velerex 562 for sale. I have one on my '99 nomad, it is as big as a road king, it is scary as hell, glad to hear you say that, cause Lonnie was actin' like I was a punk. I run 120# ballast, it's still edgy felling.

Mike,
Had much, or any experience with the new Cruiser and Tour models of Velorex?
Or just the old 562E's and Standards.

I was of the impression that the new heavy duty one just came out this year. No, I have no experience with it.

Lots to like with the Tour models. They kept the old rear mount though.
