I was coming into the US at St Stevens with a Ural a couple of years ago. Got the usual questions from the woman in the booth until the border guard in the next booth saw the bike. He said where did you get that bike? I told him Poland...... adding Poland ....Maine. He was so interested he took about 5 minutes looking it all over and the only questions I had from then on was about the Ural.
We would really like to go west for a Rally if we are free. We work weekends during the summer selling my Photography....

Most of my work is suitable for the tourist trade..Scenics etc..(www.jkwhitephoto.com) but now that you ask. I have been working on collecting antique photos of bikes and sidecars and have hand colored some. I made magnets and prints out of some of them but most of the shows I do specify that I have to be the photographer of any work I sell.

Unfortunately it is not. The Norton is a Commando, and I don't think the isolastic's would be up for handling a chair. Now if I had a nice ES2 or 16H...
The one I am putting together is a 1974 BMW R90/6 with a 1992 Velorex 562 (I believe it is a 92). I picked up a Dauntless subframe for it this past fall and mocked everything up, but think the lower mounts will need to be modified as it seems like it will be way too wide.

I think a R90/6 velorex sidecar rig,would look good sitting at a Northeast rally 🙂

Looking at your photos like the old truck in the field,the only thing I see missing would be...say.....a ural or some other sidecar rig in the photo.
Now not to pull your attention away from painting aluminum motor cases,but.....I gotta believe that between the two locations we are looking into for the National in 2010 there has to be a scenic,or rustic country side for a backdrop for shooting photos of...for example...sidecars and their owners....just a thought 🙂
I never have been much good at portraits or weddings. These days of point and shoot digitals cameras allows the average guy to do just as well as I do... Luckily I am at the tail end of my career.
Of course, I would give it a good try if I were there.
