Here in MN, we had 10" of rain last Saturday. I was in south eastern MN at a campground near Houston and Rushford. !:00 AM, had to evacuate our motorhome as a flah flood hit. Lost all, we are full timers so a lot of important "stuff" and papers gone. I jumped into waist deep water when I failed to move it. Grand daughter and my wife made it out ok. Next morning I saw the water line at 5 feet up the wall of the office /resataraunt. Saw my motor home with water up to the top of the drivers door, and this is after the watter went down ! There was a motoguzzi National motorcycle rally and at least 40 motorcycles destroyed and about 6 or so trilers and rv's in the water. The owner has been there 40 years and this the worst he'd ever seen. We are ok and savd our motorcycle/sidecar rig, our toad for the last 5 years. Never thought this could happen, been going to this Money Creek Haven campground for 15 years. Doug & Estell Hasert

I had a number of friends there, but it sounds like everyone got out safely. Lots of damage, including a semi truck full of brand new Moto Guzzis. Here are more photos. http://tinyurl.com/2a9ts8 You don't have to sign up, just click on the View Slideshow button.
The trailer hanging in the tree was still attached to the back of a Chevy Avalanche and has two motorcycles inside of it.
I didn't know you were there Doug. I'm glad you guys got out safely. Those other things can be replaced.
