Modifying my Ural for my wheelchair
I am excited to share with everyone that I now have my first motorcycle. Chuck from Central Valley Ural Motorcycle delivered my new ride Saturday January 27th. I got a 2005 Ural Tourist. It was a great day Steve took me for a ride. He picked me up out of the wheelchair and set me in the sidecar.
I have a bunch of pics on my website http://helmetspeakers.741.com. Steve already started modifying the sidecar so I can roll right up onto the frame in my wheelchair. I'm hoping he will be done this weekend. We will see.

Good for you! And welcome to the circus.
Congratulations Heather! And good luck with the conversion. This is the beginning of something very good!
I plan on having a good time this summer.
You go girl!!!! Riding in a sidecar is sooooo cool, it's the best! Your smile will just get bigger and brighter, you just can't help it when you're riding in a sidecar.

Great Job and good for you! God Bless
I'm really enjoying this whole process. Steve and his buddies have worked on it two weekends in a row. I roll up on the platform. They take measurements. I roll back off. Then I roll back up on there. They take more measurements. The only two things left to do is the wind deflector and ez lock (special wheelchair lock down). Oh ya, and some black paint.
Are they mounting the sidecar on the left hand side so that you as the driver will have the visibility you need for on coming traffic? Just wondering... I'm glad that you've found some folks to work with and that you'll be able to ride.
I will be a passenger for awhile.

Really great Heather! Enjoy many many happy days in it.

Looks good Heather. This will give new meaning to the term "running around." Hope to see you at a rally this summer!
Good looking rig, Heather.
Perhaps later on a transparent windshield can be added for your viewing pleasure.
