I'm thinking of trying to fashion my own tonneau cover for my Jawa 560 project... anyone tried this?

I'm hoping someone can recommend a source of fastners and or snaps and genuine imitation vinyl leather.

Thx.

snaps and the naugahyde material are all available at your local fabric shop.
snaps can also be bought at an auto upholstery shop.

I believe those thingerwingers that twist, like on ole English cars, are available at marine suppliers. The water kind of marine... boats that is.

yeah, the twist type would probably be better.
If you can find them.

I know you can get them because I recently got some while restoring a Steib. I may have gotten them at Lowes, believe it or not, but go here for sure: www.jamestowndistributors.com and look for CANVAS HARDWARE- "Turn Snaps for Canvas"
This is THE place for marine-grade varnishes, by the way. A ChrisCraft SC might be interesting...
