I went to La. this last week end . On the way down did some freeway and watch miy milage got 30 miles per gal. 70 to 80 MPH. and on two lane at 50 to 60 MPH got 35 per gal. the rig did good. I need just a littel more power on take off. I'm working on that now. Next trip this week end a Rat Pack gathering. The Triump get's better milage than the Harley. Now I want to watch the rear tire, its biger than the harley hope I get better milage.Rudyr

Hey rudy, glad you had a good trip down to La. Sorry I wasn't in the area to ride up and say howdy, as we were in the Texas hill country in the convertible. Saw lots and lots of motorcycles, but only 3 sidecars, and all of them were in the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum in Vanderpool (www.lonestarmotorcyclemuseum.com).

As for gearing, a small change makes a big difference. Our Sportster works much, much better geared down about 4% by one smaller tooth on the front belt pulley. The K100 rig in progress is now works well geared down about 6% by changing the rear tire size.
