leaning sidecar
I believe this is a rare equal lean cargo sidecar?? anyone know anything about this sidecar?
Coffin?
I like the ghost flames!
I like to refer to them as kavorkian kapsules.
They are possibly the most dangerous sidecars ever made.
That is why they are no longer marketed.
The Equalean went out the same time as many other sidecar makers. Around the tail end of 1982 when the feds decided that sidecar manufacturers had to have expensive consumer liability insurance. Only a few stayed in the industry out of hundreds.
The only good leaner setup I've seen using the Equalean body was at the Griffith Park Rally a few years back. Linked to a FJ Yamaha. I think the owner designer of the chromed linkage was in Huntington Beach.
Then there are some rigid mounts. This chopper rig was in Nelson, BC.
