I am a newbie to this forum and I have recently bought, Dec of 2008, a 86 GL1200 Aspy with a Champion Escort side car. When I first starting riding I realy didn't care for it much. I have since learned some of the ropes about riding such a rig and have come to enjoy it. I now like keeping up with my "two wheeled" buddies in the corners. I hope to learn alot from the website.

Welcome Wingman: Glad you're getting the hang of driving these offset outfits. It takes a while (well, took me a while) to learn to drive a sidecar rig. Be looking for an soon-to-be upcoming post re: the 2009 Uncertian?Rendezvous sidecar gathering in mid-October on Caddo Lake in Northeast Texas.

I have a GL1500 with CA Friendship III and love it. The thing is way fun to ride and has pretty decent power. You're going to have a lot of fun with it and they do get a lot of attention where ever you go.
