Picked up my sidecar outfit on Friday, WHAT A BLAST!!! Spent four hours in a parking lot on Friday, running through the yellow book exercises, then hit the road saturday (I think I memorized that book while waiting to get my rig). Luckily I live close enough to Dauntless Motors in Enumclaw, WA, that I was able to drop the Burgman off and have them do the install and checkout. They have a very satisfied customer here.

Put 148 miles on it Saturday, plan on at least that much today. I was worried about wearing out my arms steering, but no problems, its loads easier than my quad ATV. The only bad thing in the whole experience is realizing all those wasted years without a sidecar outfit.....

Welcome aboard,
Which Model scooter and sidecar are you enjoying?
How about sharing a picture or two?

Welcome to the wild wonderful world of motorcycle physics. I just completed my first full year of sidecar piloting and yesterday broke 13k miles on the odometer (every mile with my lab Rusty).

I agree....if I knew how much fun sidecars were I would have done this years ago.

Beautiful rig! The Kenna lines match the Burgman well.
Enjoy,

Jay and Tara are good folk - when looking for my rig, we swung by Dauntless; Tara must've spent 30 or 40 minutes explaining different aspects to look for when inspecting a used combination.
Now you'll have to come out to Yakima for the "Unrally" next Memorial Day!
