Some times worse then others but many times it will take a while for a page to load or I will get an error. When I say a while I mean sometimes minutes if at all. I do not seem to have this problem with other sites is the normal for this site or is it my computer of ISP?
This is the error I get
[Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'
Script timed out]

Yeah - it seems kinda' slow. Had the error message once tonight, just hit the "F5" button and let it refresh, that usually does the trick for the error, at least.
I just click a thread and then go to another open window and surf elsewhere - it only takes a minute or two.
Remember when:

The modem would make all them funky noises?
You could click on the internet icon and go get a cup of coffee, BS with the other guys/gals for a bit, then come back and sit down just in time for the connection to be established?
Cell phones used to weigh ~five pounds and were the size of a large purse? 😉

We got it good!

I have to agree. I get the error message maybe every second or third time I try to connect.

Ever since the last upgrade it seems to be running much slower than before. I'm on a 16MB connection and have gotten to where I only check here once or twice a week because of the time to load. I get bored waiting, and go somewhere else. I can't imagine what dial up users do.

I can't speak for the others, but if it was my computer I expect there would be at least one other site out there that would respond as slowly. It isn't every day, but lately, it seems to be more often than not.

it could well be that everything in middle and lower Georgia run a little slower than the rest of the state, least that what someone told me.........lol........there are days that this site will not load at all, but when it does, I have not had an issue with the speed of the forum. As for the first part of my statement a long haired guy named "Wild Bill" in Kennesaw told me so.

turtleman57 are you going to the Georgia Sidecar Club rally in June. I do not see how it could be lower Georgia as I do not have this problem with any of the other many forum sites I go to. If it had to do with my location you would thing all of them would be slow not just this one. I will say so far tonight it seems to be working MUCH better at the moment.

I was up your way a couple weeks a go on the bike when they had all the streets closed for some sort of festival. The reason I went up there was to go to the museum. I am all so a rail fan. Do you James Allmond the president of the Georgia Sidecar Club? He is a very good old friend of mine. He and I rode to Alaska and back in 2005. He Blames me for riding Harley s and not I am going to get back at him as I am going to blame him for the sidecar. LOL
