I can only dream but If I had it I would drive it
This is for sale by a museum in CA. Very sweet ride.
Would be great, wouldn't it?

Don't get me wrong....I love my rig.....but in nearly 100 years the only change I see is to make the car more difficult to get in and out of.
No suspension, hang the tub on leaf springs.

There was a similar Excelsior rig participating in the September 2010 antique bike cannonball run. Here are some pics from Hot Springs, Arkansas:

If it works well which I HD sidecar does why change it. Just be happy your bike is not still ridge but that works to as I owned a 1946u that is ridged and road it on 1.800 mile trips. LOL
Very cool! The only two older HDs I owned I built out of pieces and I rode them daily. If I had a older one I would do the same. My 1946U was in 14 shows won 22 awards in 3 magazines and one news paper. Every show I was in I drove to the show and home even the show in Daytona. I won 2nd and 3rds in Daytona against 50 or so others. I know longer own either but I always wanted a sidecar for it.
