Hi all,
have a question about the cover that goes on the hack. I have a Dneper and the cover has the metal tabs. Now I have see other Dnepers and see that the paint is all scrached up from the cover. I hate to put the cover on mine since the paint job is new and and cost about 2k, this included the bike also 2-paint on both. I thought about finding some epoxy paint and spraying the tabs on the car but was woundering if there was a better way. Oh also thought about making a new cover without the metal and using leather. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks!
Al

The OEM Tonneaus are so chintzy I can't imagine one wantinh to use it on a detailed rig with a 2K paint job.

Al, Google Rich Maund in Chesapeake Virginia. Rich has been making accessories for Ural sidecars for years and offers a really nice tonneau cover with leather mounting slots. I have a Maund seat in my Ural tub and have sold and used his stuff for years working at a Ural shop.

Make sure you tell him it's for a Dnepr. The Ural cover would not fit my Dnepr car. If I recall correctly, the Dnepr cover was too small for the Ural, but I think there was a difference in pin locations as well.
