Just turned 65 on May 12th. Been riding since 1960 and still love it. Joined the sidecar ranks one year ago this month when I bought a '99 BMW R1100 w/EZS sidecar. Absolutely love it! Also ride an '09 Triumph Bonneville T 100. A touch of the past. I'm having a blast!

Ralf,
Those aren't training wheels, they are saddle bag stabilizers (really big saddle bag).

I like to think of it as an "outrigger."

After 40 there is more of a tendency for guys to get big...around the middle.

Just turned 50 (7 years ago). Hey, don't knock the riding lawnmowers. That's how I get the wife to cut our three acres. She calls it her 4-wheeler.

Same here. I have my Harley, the wife has her Honda. But her Honda is a riding mower and she likes it that way... Posted earlier on the age thing. Still 62.

45 just having celebrated my wife reving 50...
perhaps that is a good reason to play the kid....
Enjoy beeing as old as you feel!
(I should better not say that on the days my back makes itself noticeable...
but therefore is the reset button in the center of the swimming ring that doesn't want to hide since an 8 month illness 9 years ago.)
I started 3 wheeling at 23 and 43 days, after 2 weeks earlier my Austin mini gave me the brilliant idea of 3 wheels, tossing of its right front wheel short before the motorway.
I never regretted it and prefer a rig to any car.... specially in snow and ice...(what I miss where I live, but get lots of mud in return)

Best regards
Sven Peter Pan

Turned 35 back in April. Been interested in sidecars for about 5 or 6 years now, and am finally getting around to setting my R90/6 up with one. Still have the Norton Commando for solo runs.

Hello Copperhead, just don't try to check out the gears max speed in death valley.... My norton commander converted into a bull and broke my foot.
Keep motor block rubbers, shocks and tires in optimum shape. The desert was able to eat up my tire in a few days.
Regards
Sven
