I always had a couple of bikes until I discovered I was averaging about 1000 miles on the rig for every mile I put on the bike. My last one was a very nice TransAlp. I sometimes wish I still had it, but I discovered that the last two years I had it I put on something like 130 miles. For that it wasn't worth tripping over.

I don't register them all, this year just four Guzzis... All with specific uses in mind, Quota, EV, Hack and the SP...

The Griso seems to be more of a Hot Rod, single person cycle and I have a couple of those if I want to ride that way, I just cannot justify another weapon of that type that right now.

I am in hopes that the Norge 1200 Sport Touring rig will get here in '07 for Sue and I to use two up and travel.

Rob

You didn't want us to list past motorcycles did you...?

Wow, it's been awhile since I've really given thought to how many bikes I've owned over the years, Mike is right it's a nice trip down memory lane....Right now the stable consists of: a 2003 Honda 1800 VTX, 1973 Kawasaki 900 Z1, 1985 Honda Interstate (currently being equiped w/Velorex 565 Tour) and a 1985 Honda VF700.

Aside from the rig shown;
73 Yamaha RD60
75 Honda CB400F (400/4 SS)
90 Honda GB500
82 BMW R65LS (only new bike. 87K now)
01 Kawasaki W650 The Bonnie Triumph should have made. I am constantly amazed at what a great all 'round bike this is and it's completely taken over from the LS.
48 Indian Chief (bobbed)

Only 2 I'm sorry went away; 52 BMW R67/2 restored, and a police model R67 w Steib Spezial, all original except engine rebuilt. The best handling rig ever.

I absolutely have to have both two and three wheels available. Sometimes you wake up and say, "Today I want to lean on those corners!" And then some days you wake up and your truck won't start and you have to go buy a 125 pound bale of hay.

Yeah, yeah, I know about those rigs with the flexible struts that allows the tug to lean. That's totally unnatural.
