Finished installing the side car and ended up without any lean away from sidecar.
Took it for a ride and feels good. only pulls and pushes during acceleration and braiking, but at stady speed
feels grat. How important is it to lean away from sidecar, if it feels good without any lean?
Thanks
David

Did you measure it with the suspension compressed? Perhaps you actually do have some lean out.

If it feels good and you don't have a ton of toe in contributing to the neutral handling, I'd say you are probably good. keep an eye on your sidecar and rear tire wear. A tilted sidecar tire will show up as lopsided wear. Rapid rear tire wear would indicate excess toe in or other problems.

Check the lean with you on the saddle. Then have someone check the lean of the sidecar wheel at the same time.
If it is reasonably vertical you are good to go.
Check your sidecar tire wear after several miles and if it it wearing smoothly OK. If it shows irregular wear or scuffing reduce your toe-in and give the bike a bit of lean-out.
Your sidecar tire wear is a good indicator of good or bad alignment.
