Mikeray, Talk like this makes me glad I am getting into sidecars. You are obviously a rider. I too like the long road trips. I was in Roswell last Thursday. Passed thru on my way to Ruidoso via Artesia, Cloudcroft, Alamogordo, to the Golden Aspen. Yeah, it was the long way around, but it was like eating potato chips. Just could not stop. Several people have told me how much they like sidecars as compared to Bikes.

You can add me to that list. Ever since I pulled off the Dnepr and replaced it with my Ural I've been less than pleased. It doesn't set as level as it should and it is mounted too close to the bike for my taste. Today I bit the bullet and took it off and decided to start over from scratch. While it was apart, I decided to take the bike for a ride sans sidecar. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the ride, I knew that it was temporary. Though it is usually empty, I truly prefer riding with the sidecar. By the weekend, I'll be back on three wheels.
