Hello Friends! My first post here and I hope this is the right place for this question. I am helping out my dad who is older (in his 70s) and has been riding for as long as I can remember. He had always wanted to have a sidecar, so this summer, I helped him find a Velorex sidecar.
Here's our dilemma:
We found a Velorex Sidecar, purchased it, and had it shipped from Czech Republic to Chicago. We also secured a mechanic to attach the sidecar to his Suzuki Intruder 750cc. The delivery of the sidecar took much longer than we anticipated and the mechanic bailed out on us and we don't have any inclination where he is. The Velorex sidecar and Suzuki Intruder are being stored in my dad's garage and we hope to find another mechanic that we can hire, come to my dad's garage, and attach the sidecar properly.
We are located near Chicago in a burb called Morton Grove. Can any of the members here give me ideas on how to find a mechanic that can come to my dad's garage to work on attaching the sidecar? I just want to make sure it's done properly.
