Rick,

I'm pretty sure that most of us don't know where "Hesperia" is but a state would help us out.

About your rig's behavior... Yep, that's inertia. You have a big glob of stuff out on the right side and it resists moving until after the bike moves and keeps on moving while the bike is trying to stop. A certain amount of that behavior is normal and believe it or not, you get used to it. A brake on the sidecar wheel is a help with the push on slowing down. After a while you'll begin to take advantage of the behavior in turns, rolling on more throttle in rights and backing down going into lefts. [There's more to it so don't take that too literally]

If you believe that you have excessive inertial forces acting on your rig, look for things like under inflated tires, stiff bearings and/or loose sidecar connections that will allow the alignment to change. Other than that, just get in some more driving time. Good Luck!

what Al said is great advice.onr thing I'd like to know is what bike you have and the SC.
sometimes a very light bike with a too heavy SC will make the 'push-pull' very annoying and exagerated.
must be a good matchup.
