That was actually the second incarnation of that bike which was known as the Roto Hack. It was built by Bob Pelican
and is powered by a Mazda RX7 Rotary engine and is two wheel drive .

This is not the Mazda powered 'roto hack' but it is a similar design with a Peugeot engine. The 'Zeus' by Sidebike

just a note... the stock BMW engine was gutted, cases sealed and it was used as the fuel tank. That's a sure fire way to get kicked out of the BMW owners group! hahaha. Peter says hi Bob!
